High-Availability Campus Network with Redundant Core Architecture
A large enterprise environment required a scalable campus network supporting multiple access switches while avoiding dependency on a single core device.

A large enterprise environment required a scalable campus network supporting multiple access switches while avoiding dependency on a single core device.
The network needed to aggregate numerous access-layer switches while maintaining predictable performance and allowing individual infrastructure components to fail without unnecessarily affecting the wider network.
SANSO designed the architecture around:
The network was designed using two high-availability core switches with multiple stacked enterprise access switches.
Access switches were grouped into logical stacks and connected to the core using redundant uplinks.
The firewall infrastructure was connected using higher-speed links, with dedicated HA connectivity between security appliances.
Fiber optics were used for backbone connectivity between network layers.
The resulting architecture provided a more resilient and centrally manageable campus network while establishing a scalable foundation for additional users, endpoints and applications.
