An enterprise customer required improved protection for critical applications and business data against hardware failures, accidental deletion, cyber incidents and larger infrastructure disruptions.

Traditional backups alone may not provide adequate recovery capability when critical workloads must be restored quickly.

The solution focused on:

  • Centralized backup
  • Application and VM protection
  • Defined retention
  • Secondary copies
  • Disaster recovery
  • Recovery testing
  • Scalable storage

SANSO designed a layered data-protection architecture incorporating backup software, primary backup storage, secondary data copies and disaster-recovery considerations.

Recovery requirements were mapped against workload criticality to help establish suitable Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).

The organization gained a more structured approach to data protection and business continuity, reducing reliance on individual systems or single backup copies.
